Leigh Steinberg is a premier sports agent, philanthropist, media figure, and best-selling author. Over a 50-year career, he has represented more than 300 athletes and coaches across American football, basketball, baseball, hockey, boxing, golf, Olympic sports, and more. Steinberg has represented the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft a record eight times, along with 12 Pro Football Hall of Famers and 64 total first-round draft picks.
Widely credited as the real-life inspiration for Cameron Crowe’s Oscar-winning 1996 film Jerry Maguire, Steinberg is also a prominent voice in sports media. He has authored two best-selling books, with a third scheduled for release in 2026.
A longtime philanthropist, Steinberg recently founded The Leigh Steinberg Foundation for Concussion, Traumatic Brain Injury, and Brain Health, furthering his commitment to protecting athletes and advancing brain health research and education.
