PRO FOOTBALL RETIRED PLAYERS ASSOCIATION

The organization’s mission is to solidify and preserve the legacy of retired NFL players by creating and managing new revenue streams, while developing meaningful health, welfare and educational programs. Athletes, including retired NFL players, understand discipline, teamwork and leaving a legacy. These values translate naturally to protecting the ocean for future generations.

MAKING WAVES TOGETHER

PFRPA hopes to drive action and inspire progress through the Protect Where We Play initiative by engaging retired NFL players to get involved, make a difference, and use their platform to create meaningful change.

The ocean is
truly
awesome. But it is not invincible.

100% of life on our blue planet is supported by the ocean.

50% of the world’s oxygen is produced by the ocean.

90% of the excess heat from climate change is absorbed by the ocean.

Millions of unique species have their habitats and ecosystems provided by the ocean.

"PROTECTING OUR OCEANS REQUIRES COLLECTIVE ACTION AND A SHARED SENSE OF RESPONSIBILITY, AND OUR MEMBERS ARE READY TO ANSWER THE CALL."
